Email , email and more (and more) email . . .

Folks, we are struggling under an avalanche of email; more than 1100 messages are in the reply queue after the Thanksgiving Holiday. We are now devoting more time to email than production, a situation that we will have to change, one way or another.

To help staunch the flow, we are asking that you use the web site to answer many common questions, a few of which we will answer here:

1) ALL our kits are pre-cut to fit your camera . . . you do not need to use a cutting tool of any kind!

2) ALL these pre-cut kits have adhesive already on the back . . . you do not need to use glue or adhesive of any kind! A visit to the FAQ and support sections is a must.

3) For materials and prices look first to the materials page and the online ordering page. We get so much mail asking "how much for a green kit for my Contax?" which after being answered is followed by "OK how much for a red kit?" and this can go on and on (and on and on and on) that we may have to answer these inquiries with a simple link to these pages, and leave it at that. Please use the resources of the web site, they will answer all the basic questions!

4) We only support the contemporary cameras which are listed on the supported cameras page. Right now we are developing kits for selected digital cameras, and these will be posted as they become available. Until then, if you don't see it, we don't yet have it.

5) We are adjusting our mail to prioritize inquiries from existing customers who have already made a purchase. To help us with this, we ask that Paypal account holders make sure that the email address originally provided to Paypal is still an email account that you check regularly. We actually have to send "snail mail" to customers asking them to send us mail from their active email, since their Paypal email is inactive.

6) Be sure to mention the manufacturer and model of camera you have in your message. Besides the obvious, this makes it much easier to search our SPAM folders for legitimate mail, which can be very time consuming.

6) Your inquiries are very important to us, so please don't be offended if some questions are answered with a link to that part of our site that will answer your question, if you READ IT FULLY!

Finally, if you spend some time reading the information on our site--there is a lot of it--you will usually find the answer to your question. You will also discover lots of interesting information about camera coverings that will address issues you are not yet aware of, and will make the purchase and application of your coverings more enjoyable and successful!

Thank you!
