We can make cover sets for all the Canonets. For those contemplating a new covering, the Canonets fall into 3 main groups: The original Canonet with the solar cell and bottom wind, the QL 17/19 of 1964-70 and the "new Canonet" smaller cameras from 1970 onward, which includes the G-III,  the second generation QL series, and the Canonet 28.  Canonet owners like to have fun with their cameras,  and that's reflected in the choice of materials shown here.

Left: Dark brown lizard skin. On this camera, the "G-III" badge has been removed.

Right: Spring Green Kid (Goat) Skin.  Now here's something to enliven your photography.  Don't be fooled . . . this is some of the most luxurious leather you can buy.  To see all the materials available for you Canonet,  follow the colors  & materials link at the top of the page.

Canonet in Spring Green Kid leather

Left: Grey lizard skin. The scales on the genuine Lizard skin vary quite a bit; this one has a very fine-grained pattern.

The first cover I made for this camera was for a photographer friend who hated the little "G-III QL" badge on the front, and wanted to reskin his camera without it. In the end he had a very businesslike little camera.

If you would like the holes deleted for the "QL" or "G-III" badges, just let us know.

The black Canonets can be eye-catching. The red color on your monitor isn't as faithful as it could be . . . the actual color is a more of an apple or fire-engine red. This is the "QL" Canonet, and the emblem has been retained on this make-over in red snake.

Canonet QL

Left:  BR Green pebbled calfskin.  This is the earlier, larger Canonet 19 which uses a different kit than the later "new Canonet" and is also different from the original bottom-wind camera from 1961. The camera shown, made from about 1964 to 1970, may require a cut-out for a serial number plate on the back, and/or a "QL" badge on the front.

Canonet in brown Ostrich

Canonet G-III in red ring-mark lizard
Here's a G-III covered in Matte Brown Ostrich, and Red Ringmark Lizard. Canonets are so much fun to recover (and so easy to recover) that owners of multiple cameras sometimes dress up their entire "fleet".
The Ostrich is a custom order, and --sorry to say--the Red Ringmark Lizard is out of stock!
